Visiting America

I came back to Atlanta on January 11th and I'll return to China on February 3rd.

My high school is on holiday and I don't know if I'll be coming home in June so I decided now was a good time to say hello to friends and family.

It feels good to be back! Nothing quite like America.

I'm Lisa.

After graduating college from Georgia College and State University in the spring of 2011, I accepted a job teaching English in China. I left Atlanta, GA on September 4th, 2011 and I returned on July 9th, 2012.

After teaching English in China, I received a Fulbright Scholarship for an English Teaching Assistantship (ETA) through the U.S. Department of State. My additional project while in Mongolia was researching family and cultural values. I traveled to Mongolia on August 7th, 2012 and I returned to America on June 9th, 2013.

I was accepted into the University of South Dakota's PhD program for Clinical Psychology in 2013. After 5 years, I graduated from the University of South Dakota in the summer of 2018, after completing my residency in Dayton, Ohio as a Captain in the USAF. Following that, the Air Force moved me to Texas and I became a licensed Clinical Psychologist.

I'm currently living in Abilene, Texas.
